 In April 2011, 30 of the members of (as they used to be called) Brighton & Hove (actually) Gay Men's Chorus, were signed, along with their name, to Universal/Island in an historic deal to record an album! Now known as the Brighton and Hove Gay Men's Chorus (the label didn't get the 'actually' bit!) we've recorded our first album which has been released for download! Although Brighton and Hove Gay Men's Chorus are not doing any major performances before Christmas, they have been taking part in several fund-raising events around the city of Brighton and Hove they love so much. Unbelievably, the Chorus even took their kit off for charity! - See Gay Times Naked Edition, Dec 2011, supporting the Elton John Foundation.
Although there is much excitement and fun - being ferried around in cabs to various studios for TV interviews, meeting amazing people in the music industry and photo shoots, all of the guys taking part in this amazing project also find the time to be members of Actually Gay Men's Chorus - continuing to do everything that BH(a)GMC used to do, including their anual Christmas show, T'was The Night Before Christmas' on Thurs 22nd Dec. |
